Below are 3 major reasons which if avoided can increase your chances of getting a job.
1. Are you Up to date
with current work scenario
Today's employers are not looking
only for degrees. They want people who can get the work done. Many Job seekers
are still unaware of what is needed to get this work done. What do you think is
needed to get work done?
Many fresh Graduates come for the
interview with their mark-sheets and good marks but they must know besides our
degree, you should also find out what skills are needed for getting a job.
2. Want to work in comfort zone.
Out of 100 first time Nontechnical
job seekers I interact with , 70% want a job that does not involve travelling
or that does not have targets or that does not require them to interact with
new people. In short they want a job that is in their comfort zone. That will not
happen if you stay in your comfort zone, you will never grow. Dare to get out
of your comfort zone. If you have potential in you it needs to be exposed to
new challenges. Only then will the potential be utilized.
3. Lack of Proper Resume
Resume is your personality put down
on paper yet many job seekers take it lightly and do not put in the efforts
needed to be put on this important aspect. Resume should highlight your skills
, It should also let the recruiting manager know which post you would best fit.
Many a times the job seeker is confused what kind of job they are seeking and
this leads to a common resume for all jobs they are applying.
Remember RESUME is not a one size
fits all document. You will have to alter it based on the organisation and job
you are applying for.
